NEW YORK CITY -- One of the hottest Asian-American bands, The Happy Analogues, will be launching its debut album entitled ‘Lilacs and Politics’ on Saturday May 5, 2007 at one of New York City’s hottest clubs, The Rebel.251 W. 30th Street (bet 7th & 8th aves) The show is an 18+ show and it will also feature some of the best bands in the scene: PI, Bleud, The Kuwagos, Noizytoyz, triCKBag, Blue Mellon Pop and Qwadra. The 11-track album was produced by Ted Reyes with additional production by Ronnie Lao, engineered by Tony Murgola, and released by Soulworks Records. Soulworks Records is the premiere Filipino-American independent record label. The CD contains songs that have become favorites among their loyal supporters: ‘Jellybeans Forever’, ‘Crazy Girl For You’, ‘Shameless’, ‘The Universe is Mine’, ‘It’s Okay, I’ll Stay’, ‘Beautiful Pain’, ‘Hodgepodge’ and more.
